Lace it up for the New Year

Lace has had a comeback this year, the last time lace was
big, it was during the 80s when Madonna had everyone wearing lace gloves.

Now black lace is appearing as a sexy peek-a-boo textile in a dress, and it is being used with a solid color nude or black to add that feminine touch.

Lace has been one of the most intricate and time consuming textiles to make because it is hand made. The material has been used for women undergarments, now it is seen as an outer garment.

This is definitely another fashion trend that should give you a good idea for a party dress to bring in the New Year.

This tube-top dress by Type Z can be found at Zappos.com priced at $69. The designer uses the two textiles in an angular direction, which also helps the wearer emphasis her best features, and direct the viewers eyes to them. The use of nude is great since it helps layer the lace making it pop out.

This Calvin Klein black lace dress can be found at Bluefly.com for a special price only found on the website, $89. The dress is a spaghetti strap V-neck, 100 percent polyester. The top-half insert is made of a floral lace. The dress is accessorised with a black skinny belt which gives an Empire waits-line to the wearer.

Mlilitary Jackets for the fall season

Military Jackets have decided to stay on top of the trends for the rest of the year. They made their presence during the fall 2009 and spring 2010 fashion shows and have continued to stay strong into the fall season.

Earlier in the year the military jackets had more of an Eighteenth century uniform design to them with no lapel, double breast and military patches. The colors also ranged from black, red, blue or green.

For fall the military jacket color has stayed on the olive green, as seen on these celebrities. Also the jackets are more of a 70's Vietnam military era. The
jackets fit loose and are less decorative.

Here are a few suggestions that wont take you far out of your budget.

UrbanOutfitters.com has this olive green jacket by Treads for
Though. A fun fact about the company is that they give a portion of their sales to charities so you can look good and feel good about yourself. The military jacket of the fall like this one comes with a hood. The jacket is priced at $68.

Nordstrom.com has this military jacket by Doki Geki in their junior department for $48. The jacket has a hoodie that can be rolled away and sleeves that can be rolled up and clipped in place.
